About the Department

The Department of Natural Resource Management was established in April 2018. The department was started with multi-functional activities like Teaching, Research and Extension in Agronomy, Agril. Chemistry & Soil Science, Agril. Meteorology and Agril. Engineering. The department is working for teaching and research in NRM disciplines of horticulture for the students as well as farming community. It contributes in creating human resources in the different field of Horticulture as well as giving inputs/policies to strengthen farmer-scientist linkage through different research findings. The department is also involved in different extension activities such as organizing workshops, seminars, training programmes and delivering talks/lectures.
