• Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Technology
• Biomass Gasification and Biomass Energy
• Basis Science and Humanities laboratories like Physics, Chemistry, Language with multimedia presentation facilities.

        The department conducts research in the fields of solar drying and dehydration of agricultural products, biomass gasification, biogas technology, greenhouse technology, crop mulching, modified atmospheric packaging of fruits & vegetables and application of plastics in agriculture.
