Process Engineering Unit
Faculty of Food Processing Technology & Bio-Energy
Anand Agricultural University
ANAND
Introduction
Agricultural
Product Process Engineering was established at the Anand campus
of the then Gujarat Agricultural University during 1977-78 with
the ICAR support as a research department in the faculty of
Agricultural Engineering and Technology. Subsequently, the
department was strengthened with building, laboratory equipment
and scientific staff by ICAR. The department was upgraded as a
separate Unit with effect from 1.4.1994. Subsequently, the unit
was further upgraded as Faculty of Food Processing Technology &
Bio-Energy of Anand Agricultural University with effect from
January 2005. .
