Research Recommendations :
1. Farmers of Agro-climatic zone-IV situation No.9 & 12 are
advised not to grow custard apple in heavy black soil having
morum below
plough layer and poor drainage. But, they can grow ber (Gola)
followed by caronda, guava, pomegranate and phalsa.
2. 2.
Effect of fertilizer and cutting management on dry fodder yield
of natural grass land
T The farmers of North Gujarat Agro-climatic
zone (AES-IX and XII) growing natural grass (marvel grass) are
advised to harvest the
natural grass at the time of maturity and apply 60
Kg N/ha to obtain higher dry fodder yield as well as higher net
realization.
