Extension Education faculties are engaged in extending the advisory services to the  farmers including farm Visit, Diagnosis & Recommendation to overcome pests and disease problems, analysis of the soil samples, nutritional and management problems related to agriculture to increase farm income and better rural management. 

In addition to this , the diploma courses/ training  programmes in agriculture, home science, bakery, poultry, horticulture etc. are conducted for the benefits of farming community. The Extension Education Institute imparts the training to extension personal and offices of Gujarat, Rajastan, Maharastra, Madhaya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Div and Daman to increase the effectiveness of extension education and communication as well as to make the trainees conversant of the principles of Extension Education. 

The Krishi Vigyan Kendras undertake vocational training of farmers, farm woman and rural youth, organizes in services training to field level extension workers, conducts on-farms  testing/research for technology assessment and refinement and frontline  demonstrations to promptly demonstrations the latest technologies to the farmers as well as extension workers. The Sardar Smruti Kendra is established for the upliftment  of the farming community especially the farmers training is the crucial component among the various extension activities carried out by this center. Besides this, Tribal Training Centers are imparting training to tribal community in the field of agriculture and allied sectors for their upliftment.
