STUDENT RESERVATION
   
 

The University shall reserve seats for admission of the candidates as specified below, provided that nothing in this regulation shall require the University to admit candidates larger in number or with academic and other qualifications lower than those prescribed, except in cases as in Regulation No. 1.1 above.

Nominees of donor - Sheth Mansukhlal Chagganlal  Trust, Mumbai

1.  Provided that they fulfill the minimum eligibility required for admission and qualified at the Entrance Examination.

2. They will be admitted in order they are sponsored by the donor.

For Parsi Community students

1. Candidates who are domicile of Gujarat.

For Kashmiri migrant candidates

1. The admission will be considered to such students provided the nomination is received from the Secretary, Agriculture and Co-operation Department, Govt. of Gujarat.

2. Candidate shall have to produce certificate from Deputy Commissioner of respective state where he has been migrated from Kashmir alongwith Registration Number and Ration Card.

(viii)   A candidate availing himself of reserved seat as under Rule No. 1.2.11 (i & ii) shall be required to produce a certificate of his belonging to a particular group / category. The candidate belonging to SEBC category shall produce a certificate, issued by the competent authority of the current year of admission, showing that he / she does not belong to creamy layer person of section, otherwise he / she shall not be considered against the SEBC category.                                         

(ix)      No candidate availing of any of reserved seats shown as above or enjoying any concession in admission shall, however, be eligible to get more than one advantage of relaxation in minimum qualification at the same time.                                                                                     

(x)        In the event of some or all reserved seats, specified as above, remaining vacant due to less number of application from eligible candidates, they shall be considered as open seats and will be filled in, in order of merit from the general list of the candidates.

(xi)      Candidates in all the above reserved categories shall also have to fulfill the condition as provided under Rule No. 1.1 and 1.2.7 (i, ii and iii) of minimum qualification and Entrance Examination, respectively.

 

  NRI / NRI Sponsored / PAYMENT SEATS           

Ten Seats at each college are reserved as NRI/ NRI Sponsored Payment Seats with the conditions stated below.

(i)  The fees for NRI Seat will be US $ 3500 for each Semester.

(ii)  The fees on payment seat will be Rs. 25,000- for each Semester.

(iii)  The unfilled NRI Seats will be filled up as payments seats.

(iv)  The candidate seeking admission on NRI / NRI Sponsored / Payment seats shall have to pay fees for two semesters at the first instant. For remaining fees, the candidate shall have to produce a Bank Guarantee from Nationalized Bank

(v)       A candidates having passed HSSCE or equivalent examination with PCM/PCMB along with English as compulsory subject will be eligible for admission to all Under graduate courses upon NRI / NRI Sponsored Payment seat. He shall not require to appear in the written test.

(vi)      The candidates on NRI / NRI Sponsored / Payment seats are selected for admission strictly on merit basis on the marks obtained by them in the HSSCE and they being medically / Physically fit and or passed any test as decided by the University. The merit of the candidate shall be determined as per relevant norms prescribed by the University for admission.

(vii)     The candidature for foreign students shall be considered only if they are sponsored by their respective National Government and or by Government of India / ICAR.

(viii)    The prospectus and Application form for admission on NRI / NRI Sponsored /Payment seats will be available only in person at the office of the Registrar, Anand Agricultural University, Anand by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Anand Agricultural University Fund account. Prospectus / Application form will not be sent by post.

(ix)      The Application form dully filled in all respect accompanied with attested copies of relevant marks sheets and other documents should be submitted to the Registrar in person only before the prescribed date.

(x)        The unfilled NRI / NRI Sponsored / Payment seats will be filled in, in order of merit from the merit lists of the candidates belongs to Gujarat.
