Variety has dwarf plant height having very short pseudostem length. The fruits matured very early within 325 days. Average fruit weight 176 g. Higher moisture (82.92%), total anti-oxidant activity (5.26 mg/100g) and flavanoid (9.68 mg/100g) content. It contains higher Ca (3886 mg/kg), K (11253 mg/kg), Fe (41.55 mg/kg), Mn (20.45 mg/kg), Zn (12.35 mg/kg) and Cu (6.38 mg/kg) as compared to check Grand Naine. This variety suitable for all cropping system due to its early maturing habit.</p>

The variety has medium plant height with early maturity and conical shape with loose bunch. Fruits are medium in size with slightly curved shape. Average fruit weight 99.3 g. Higher carotenoid (3.64 mg/100g) and reducing sugar (2.51%) as well as lower crude fiber (1.66%) higher Fe (32.10 mg/kg) and Zn (9.16 mg/kg) content. On the basis of traders’ opinion, this dessert type banana variety Prasadam fetches about 5 times more price than cavendish Banana Grand Naine.</p>

The variety has regular fruit bearing habit and mature fruits have broad elliptic shape in cross section, long to medium in size and smooth surface as well as yellow skin and medium yellow pulp colour at ripening.

Mango variety Gujarat Mango 1 (Anand Rasraj) produced 57.4 kg/tree (11.49 t/ha) fruit yield (mean of 7 to 9 years old trees), which is 29.86, 44.95, 30.45, 31.35, 77.16 and 27.84 <em>per cent </em>higher than checks Langra, Dashehari, Kesar, Sonpari, Sindhu and Mallika, respectively. It has higher average fruit weight (268.2 g), pulp weight per fruit (210 g), peel weight per fruit (28.80 g), pulp to stone ratio (7.15) and pulp to peel ratio (7.28) as compared to check variety kesar and comparable with sonpari, whereas fruits per plant (254) was higher than kesar and sonpari. Contains higher non-reducing sugar (14.36%), phenol (0.29%), total anti-oxidant activity (0.123%), flavanoid (0.051%), β-carotene (12.17 ppm) and total carotenoids (19.03 mg/100g) as compared to check varieties kesar and sonpari. It has less crude fiber (0.48 %) as compared to all the checks which is an important quality character in mango fruits.</p>

GARFG 1 produced 35.85 kg/plant (14.34 t/ha, mean of 4<sup>th</sup> to 6<sup>th</sup> year old plant) fruit yield against national check Lalit (18.76 kg/plant) and check Dholka Local (22.72 kg/plant). It contains higher carotenoid (19.41 mg/100g pulp), TSS (14.33 <sup>0</sup>Brix), micronutrients like Zn (14.94 mg/kg) and Mn (5.84 mg/kg) as compared to national check Lalit and Dholka Local. This variety has lower fruit fly damage as compared to the checks Lalit and Dholka Local.</p>
