5. TRAINING ORGANIZED DURING THE YEAR 2015-16

1. EXTENSION ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT At SARDAR SMRUTI KENDRA DURING THE YEAR: 2021-22

• To organize training programmes for various categories of farmers who are connected with agriculture.
• To collect the up-to-date information on agriculture and allied fields.
• To prepare agricultural research based information in form of leaflets, folders and booklets.
• To suggest the solutions to the problem of the farmers in concurrence with related scientist, either in person or through correspondence.

• To provide lodging and boarding facilities to the trainees, a well equipped hostel (“TRIBHOVAN KRUSHIKAR CHHATRALAY”) has been established. Thirty trainees can be accommodated comfortably in this hostel.
• To show modern agricultural advancement and to give them a feel of patriotism through out Sardar Patel’s life, exhibition has been set-up in the center.

• Promoting of Agriculture Sciences and practices.
• Diffusion of technical know-how to help the farmers to adopt the innovations.
• Development in activities relating to production of Agriculture and its allied fields.
• Improvement of Agro-Economic status of rural people.
• Established a direct contact of farmers and farmwomen with the agricultural scientists.
• Impart the knowledge of the means of value adoption to their agricultural products.
