Objectives

• To carry out effectively the tobacco improvement programmes through co-ordination of multidisciplinary research   

   by a team of scientists including plant breeders, entomologist, pathologist, virologist, chemist, physiologist,  

   agronomist, and nematologist.

• To facilitate for exchange of technology, seeds and conduct trials on various varieties and hybrid derivatives.
