• Organizing/Participating in the "Krushi Mela", Farmer's Days, Krushi Mahotsav and Agricultural Exhibitions organized by University or other agencies
• Educating Govt. officials in Pre-seasonal training, diagnostic team visits and other training programmes
• Conducting demonstration plots and organizing field days on farmers' fields
• Educating farmers during their visit to the station

1. PG research and Research Papers Published

• To carry out effectively the tobacco improvement programmes through co-ordination of multidisciplinary research   

   by a team of scientists including plant breeders, entomologist, pathologist, virologist, chemist, physiologist,  

   agronomist, and nematologist.

• To facilitate for exchange of technology, seeds and conduct trials on various varieties and hybrid derivatives.

• Developing high yielding varieties of bidi and chewing tobacco with appropriate production technologies.

• Breeding tobacco varieties for less health risk factors.

• Development of genotypes with high seed yield potential with appropriate agro techniques for oil purpose.

• Developing cropping systems.

• Developing suitable technologies for the management of diseases and insect-pests.
