Managemental practices evolved for successful weaning of buffalo calf right at birth along with reducing calf mortality, reducing age at first calving in heifers and optimizing calving interval in dams are provided to the livestock owners by extension activity. Package of practices evolved to avoid summer heat stress in buffalo to improve breeding efficiency by timely and proper heat detection and AI is also provided to the farmers so that reproductive and productive efficiency can be improved for their animals at field level.
Establishment of non-surgical ETT in cattle and buffaloes are standardize and scientist/ students are educated for the same.
Attempts are made to develop package of practices for breeding of the goats through out the year, so that three kid crops in two year times can be available to the farmers.
