Dr. Kishorbhai Parsottam Patel, an alumnus of GAU, PAU and IARI, excelled as a Research Scientist in the field of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry. He has a long association of about two decades with researches on secondary micronutrients and pollutant elements in soil and plants. His commitment to the social needs of rural sector requires continuous involvement and priority based planning and his association with different schemes is self explanatory in this matter. He has published many research papers in National & International Journals of repute and attended a large number of national/international seminars, symposiums and workshops. Dr. Patel has also served as a councilor of ISSS and member on editorial board of JISSS for couple of years. Besides micronutrients, his association with soil health issues has earned many accolades.
