Objectives

The Vision

To develop overall competence and motivation to adopt scientific approach towards Baking Science and Technology and thereby equip trainees to handle innovation and operation & management in the different areas of bakery industry.

Aims

  • Development of scientific attitude among trainees towards baking science and technology.
  • Facilitate trainees to adopt the systematic knowledge specifically with a vocational bias.
  • Motivate trainees towards self-employment by developing skill and work efficiency.

Objectives

The prime objective to establish the School of Baking is to prepare skilled bakery technical personal who are able to prepare varieties of bakery products on a commercial base in a scientific manner. The other objectives are:

  • To provide training to the young boys and girls for establishing bakery industry and thereby increase the self-employment.
  • To impart knowledge regarding baking science to the new entrepreneur and to provide business opportunity.
  • To discriminate the latest technical & industrial know-how as baseline support for the development of bakery business.
  • To widespread the knowledge on baking science and technology through mass-media.
  • To increase utilization of wheat produced by the farmers through the scientific preparation of the bakery products and thereby to be helpful to the farmer for its economic price.
