Crop Protection :

    • The research station has been identified as National hot – spot centre of Downey Mildew disease of pearl millet.

    • The research station is being strengthened for downey mildew screening in summer.

Study of Bio-efficacy of insecticides against pest complex in Green Gram.

Monitoring and management of pests in different crops viz. green gram, cotton, groundnut, castor, pearl millet based cropping systems.

Screening of pisitilate lines, monoecious lines and promising hybrids of castor against wilt in wilt sick plot.

Assessment of seed mycoflora of processed lots of wheat and paddy stored in gunny bag.

Evaluation of insecticides against Callosobruchus maculatus (Fabricius) infesting green gram seed during storage.

Efficacy of seed treatment against sucking pests and root rot of desi cotton.
