Under graduate level the physical education course is being offered for Ist and IInd Semester, in which basic skills of various major games and the principles of physical education is tought.

Besides the academic programme, the students of this college participates in various inter college sports, cultural and literacy competition and represents the University for inter University sports, cultural and literacy competition.

Various extra curricular activities like adventure activity, inter semester sports competitions, College annual day celebrations, publication of students magazine etc. are carried out through out year and develop their inherit skills and personality.

Special Events organized during Year 2021-22

1) Agricultural Education Day

Under the head of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’, National Service Scheme and Student Representative Council Jointly organized and celebrated an "Agricultural Education Day" at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, AAU, Godhra on 3rd December, 2021 on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, First Union Agriculture Minister in 1946 and First President of independent India, 1947.

The day was celebrated by conducting two events. In the morning session, the school students of Shri Shri Ravishankar Vidyamandir, Godhra were invited to visit college. The visit of students started at 9:30 am to the different departments of the college. The students had shown their keen interest in understanding various principles, construction and functions of various equipment, instruments, working models, experimental set ups related to soil conservation, hydrology, irrigation, food and grain processing, renewable energy, tractor, farm machinery and basic engineering. Later on students visited the exhibition hall and had a short interaction with the Principal and Dean regarding prospects and scope of Agricultural education in future.

In the afternoon session, a day was celebrated with UG and PG students followed by watching an online program held at ICAR Headquarter. The function was started with lighting the lamp by Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean, CAET, Godhra along with all HoD’s, SRC Chairman and NSS Program officer followed by University Song. Dr. K. R. Jethva, NSS Program Officer welcomed all dignitaries and briefed about the objectives behind celebration of "Agricultural Education Day". Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. D. K. Vyas, Dr. M. K. Tiwari and Dr. Kapil Mandloi expressed their views on the importance of agricultural education in general. In his speech, Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean emphasized on the need of spreading awareness about agricultural education in the society. He also urged students to learn and develop the soft skills in developing websites, applications so that they can fulfill the present market demand in the field of Drone Technology, artificial intelligence, GIS & Remote sensing etc. Dr. R. C. Salunkhe, SRC Chairman  delivered a vote of thanks to all who were present in the function and who had taken efforts and helped to make this function successful. The program ended with the singing National Anthem.


2) Celebration of Sport Fest 2K22

Three-day ‘Sport  Fest 2k22’ was organized at College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, AAU, and Godhra during April, 01 to 03, 2022 as a part of ‘Fit India Movement’ under Five programs of  ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mohostav’. The Festival was opened by conducting Rally which was started by Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean, CAET, Godhra along with Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Head, Deptt. of FMPE, Dr. Navneet Kumar, Head,  Deptt. of  PFE,  Dr. M. K. Tiwari, Head, Deptt. of  SWCE and IDE,  Er. Kapil Mandloi, Head, Deptt. of  BEAS and all Staff members of CAET, Godhra  by  showing off green flag. In the Inaugural function, Dr. R. C. Salunkhe, SRC, Chairman,  welcomed all and explained the purpose behind the organizing Sport Fest 2K22. In his inaugural speech, Dr. R. Subbaiah Sir, motivated the students for a conducting such type of events and urge that the students should took part in all events and enjoy the these three days. He also highlighted the importance of physical fitness in human life. 

The fest was stared with cricket match between Staff and PG students. By winning Toss, Staff Team elected Bat first and made score of 92 runs in 10 overs. In chasing the score, Student Team made 84 runs and Staff  Team won the match by 8 runs. On the first day, events such as Cricket, Carrom, Chess and Volleyball were organized. On the second day of the festival, sports like Treasure Hunt, Badminton, Langadi, Tug of war, and solo games were organized. The third day of sport fest was become memorable by sports like Team Building, Kabaddi, Weight Lifting along with Quize, Debate, Mobography and Media Reporting competitions.

The  Sports Fest was became unique activity of CAET, Godhra as it was planned, organized, conducted and participated by the all UG & PG and all Boys and Girls students of the college. It was organized to cultivate and promote the team leading attitude, spirit of unity and to develop the overall personality of the students.
